Mechanical issues put an early end to Shriya's Rotax weekend

Shriya competed in the first Round of the Rotax Max Challenge ( RMC ) India that took place at Meco Kartopia , Bangalore from 11th-13th August 2023.

Shriya had some engine issues since practice that were too major to be resolved in the limited time, so she had to go into Qualifying trying to make the best of what she had. Mechanical issues that restricted her performance all weekend were frustrating and unfortunate. Shriya gave a good fight each race and made up positions but to add up to existing issues, in the Final Race she had an incident involving another driver climbing over her kart at the start of the race that damaged the kart and ultimately forced her to retire from

the race.

Even with everything thrown at her, Shriya gave a tough fight till the very end and never gave up. What was a tough and learning weekend for Shriya and the team , motivates them to understand the problems and avoid the same for the next Rounds.
